Corporate Vision
At Springhill we are daring to think and dream BIG knowing we serve a great God who makes all things possible.
Pillar One: EVANGELISM
Springhill will welcome 1500 new partners to the fellowship by 2010. Our congregation must be prepared to receive different cultures within our community of faith. This will mean opportunities for multiple worship services and a challenge to reach beyond the narrow borders of East Gainesville to an even greater form and focus of evangelism and mission utilizing multiple technological mediums.
Pillar Two: EMPOWERMENT
We will work for financial independence as a corporate body and as individuals. We must find ways to strengthen personal and individual financial planning and money management training for the congregation as well as the community. We will be a debt free ministry by 2015. To support this effort we will identify and open new revenue streams including a Hilltop Book Store, and Hilltop Enterprises.
Pillar Three: EDUCATION
Expand the intellectual scope of our community by increasing the educational level of our community. We will graduate 100 partners from post-secondary education in the next five years. We will commit our intellectual, human and financial resources to this goal.
Pillar Four: EDIFICATION
Our goal is to establish a vibrant ministry for children, teens, and young adults, by establishing ministry opportunities for this population. Today 51% of African Americans are under the age of thirty years old. This is the first time in our history when persons under thirty comprise a statistical majority of our population. This means that young people, children, youth, and teens are not going to be a part of our ministry; they must be the ministry.
Pillar Five: EXALTATION
Our vision must explore the advantages of new media and technology. We must address a generation that learns by the visual and the digital. Theatrical productions, dance and music academies must open the way for new expressions of faith. We will use new technology throughout our church operations.
