Our second mission goal is to Elevate Society, which means we are reaching out to the community. Please select one of the links to your right to find out more about ministries where you can partner with us to change our community one person at a time. They are also a great opportunity to meet other people in our family.

COMMUNITY ACTION - This team of business professionals seeks to increase the earning power of our partners, add to the number of entrepreneurs in the fellowship, and provide support to our partner’s businesses. They coordinate networking fairs, job skills training, homeownership seminars, job bank, maintaining an employee database, and financial literacy courses.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH - The Outreach Department consists of the Bread of Heaven Food Program, Dress for Success Clothing Program, Prison Outreach, Evangelism, and street ministry which extends through various community efforts. All Springhill ministries work to support our Community Outreach efforts.

EDUCATION COUNCIL - The Springhill Education Council is a team of professional educators and administrators who are finding creative methods to increase the educational level of our partners and community. This team’s goals are to graduate at least 100 partners from traditional or vocational education by 2010; administer our scholarship program, and give oversight to our technology lab. If you are an educator this is the team for you.

Reading and Math Assistance - This takes place every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm , by appointment, in the Multipurpose room.
Scholarship Info - If you are enrolled or are preparing to enroll in any post-secondary institute and are a member of Springhill, you are eligible for a scholarship.
All applications are due ASAP!!! You can give your completed application to a member of the Education Council or mail to the church at 120 SE Williston Road; Gainesville, Fl 32641. Applications can be found in the Administration Hallway on the desk at SMBC. Blue Packets are for RE-APPLICANTS. White Packets are for NEW APPLICANTS.
